Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 17, 2026
DC Marketing Group (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website located at www.dcmarketinggroup.co. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.
1. Information You Provide
When you fill out our contact or consultation request form, we collect your name, company name, phone number, email address, and the details of your message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and follow up about our services.
If you subscribe to our blog, we collect your email address through Mailchimp to send you updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
2. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our Site, certain information is collected automatically through the tools described below.
Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC)
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Site — pages viewed, time spent, and general traffic patterns. Google Analytics assigns your browser a persistent, pseudonymous identifier and collects your IP address and browser information; it does not collect directly identifying information such as your name or email address. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising or remarketing purposes. For information on Google’s data practices, visit policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Google reCAPTCHA (Google LLC)
We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect our forms from spam and automated abuse. reCAPTCHA runs on every page that includes a form and may collect your IP address, browser and device information, and your interactions with the page. For information on Google’s data practices, visit policies.google.com/privacy.
Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC)
Our blog subscription form is powered by Mailchimp. If you subscribe, your email address is stored and processed by Mailchimp. Mailchimp also runs a site-tracking script across our Site that records page visits and activity, which it may associate with your email address if you’re a subscriber. For information on Mailchimp’s data practices, visit mailchimp.com/legal/privacy.
NiceJob (NiceJob Inc.)
Our Site uses NiceJob to display customer reviews. NiceJob may collect information about your interaction with the review widget. For information on NiceJob’s data practices, visit nicejob.com/privacy.
Podium (Podium Corporation Inc.)
We use Podium’s text-chat widget to allow visitors to send us a text message directly from the Site. Podium assigns your browser a unique identifier when the page loads, before any conversation begins, and may collect your phone number and message content if you initiate a conversation. Podium uses LaunchDarkly (Catamorphic Co.) to support its own product features, and visiting our Site may send information to LaunchDarkly as part of that process. For information on Podium’s data practices, visit podium.com/privacy-policy.
Google Fonts and Web Fonts
Our Site loads web fonts from Google’s servers, which transmits your IP address to Google as part of the font delivery process.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to consultation requests and inquiries
- To send blog updates to subscribers who have opted in
- To understand how visitors use our Site and improve our content
- To communicate with visitors who initiate contact via our text-chat widget
- To protect our forms from spam and automated abuse
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for cross-site behavioral advertising.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for advertising purposes. Information you provide through our contact form may be shared with our team for the sole purpose of following up on your inquiry. The third-party tools described in Section 2 process data according to their own privacy policies, linked above.
5. Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to fulfill your inquiry and maintain our business records. Email subscribers are retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ standard retention settings.
6. Third-Party Links
Our Site contains links to third-party websites including client sites, social media platforms, and partner organizations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies before providing any personal information.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our Site is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date above. We encourage you to review it periodically.
